Are nations like Saudi Arabia and Iran conservative paradises? No Abortion, no same- marriage, etc.?

It does, it sounds as if they are already a part, they are becoming what they fear! Extremist. This is why these nations are the way they are, they have religion run government, yet behind the scenes are having just as much freedom as liberals. They use these poor people as soldiers, promising a better life in the next life while they themselves are not having to sacrifice. They do well to hide behind the real endeavors of what they are doing. If you have not seen Syriana came out a couple yrs ago(not sure of spelling) check it out. It is hard to understand if you do not follow close politics but you will get the idea
