Has anyone ever had bees completely take over your hummingbird feeder?

all of a sudden they started feeding on the sugar water a few,then 20 or so then hundreds of bees no hummingbirds could get near the feeders, all i could do was remove my feeders that meant no birds at all. when i try to put the feeders back the bees come, i don't see bees at all without the feeders, i love the hummingbirds my granddaughters laughs because i call them my sugarbabies. help what can i do.
