Couple of questions about laptop processor specs.?

So obviously the higher the frequency the better, what i am a little confused about is front bus speed or system bus speed im uming the lower is better but when i compare an amd turion II dual core m500 to a intel pentium dual core t4300 they have similar frequencies but they fsb is a huge difference the intel has 800 i ume mhz and the amd has 3600 any input on which is better and why would be appreciated. Also I have a question about l2/l3 cache again im uming more is better but i really dont know what it is. thanks! and best answer gets 10 points obviously.
