Been with my Dad 5 days straight in the hospital?

HE himself is not sick but I just discovered that a man we had been talking to and gave a cigarette and let use lighter has an airborne illness and was confined to room and nurses had to put on the whole get up. I just came home to take a break and realized what if I'm sick and I give it to my 2 year old daughter? What are the chances from that minimal contact I am infected or even just from being in that stew for 5 days. What should I do with my family?
