Why does Bush get credit for keeping the U.S. safe?

He was on vacation 42% of the time from the start of his term through 9/11. Not one shred of proof exists that any Iraqis took part in 9/11. The facts show that Saddam Hussein was a law and order leader who had nothing but contempt for Al Queda. Over 3000 americans died on 9/11 on Bush's watch, thousands more soldiers have died since. Osama Bin Laden is still alive. We devastated a country that wasnt a threat to us. As a thinking person I know Osama is in Saudi Arabia. His family is protecting him,just as anyones family would. nothing my brother did would make me turn him over to certain death. I dont think Bush is an evil person but he got duped and is so deep in the Saudi royals pockets he cant pursue Osama. Hence the "Hes been marginalized I dont even think about him" comment, that Bush made. Then the turning over of our ports security to Qatar that bush was all for. Safer? No. Vulnerable? Very. Not to mention we need about 4 trillion dollars just to get to flat broke
