Confused boyfriend?

Me and my (ex)boyfriend have been together for a year and a half. I'm 20 he is about to turn 24. I thought he personified a good genuine person. Very respectful, super funny, talented, intellectual, handsome, and spiritual etc. The past year we have had so much fun, getting to know each other and what not. Getting acquainted with each others friends and family. He couldn't wait to introduce me to his mother. His mother loves me and calls me pretty often to see how I am doing. I get along with his sisters and his father, and all of his friends. He was first to say "I love you". He was first to bring up marriage. His family would tell me how much he talked about me and how much he loved me. His friends were even surprised. We were like one big family. He told me he wanted me to have his children in the future; he just wanted to be a good man for me. He is a artist (music). He is very talented and presented with so many opportunities for his future. (cont'd)
