How much money is wasted on marijuana instead on basic needs?

How many marijuana users waste money on marijuana/dope instead of rent, electricity, food, other payments, clothes. shoes, household needs. Even if some users have a monetary limit, they get sucked/drawn in/ manipulated to use more dope by other users or condoners and thus more money is smoked away. Don't you think that is wrong?
