Should i leave my education i.e. engineering?

in 1st sem i was in distinction...in second sem i got 4 subjects back(3 were required for ATKT)...means i was failed...i applied for recheck of 3 subjects...i got 2 subjects cleared in recheck n i got atkt with 2 subjects back in the first year....but recheck result was too late to take admission....and my 1 year got wasted due to f*ck*ng university....!! its ok but in august 2010 i got admission in second year with civil branch...!!...but i lost my interest in studies n in 3rd sem i got 4 subjects back again means i cleared only 2 out of 6...and now my 4th sem exams are very close...my parents are putting pressure upon me to study...i am trying to study but i am not able to get good marks....!! my dad told me to leave engineering after 3rd sem result if i am not able to study...!!! and now i am thinking over it coz i am not able to handle pressure of submission exams of 10 subjects parent's pressure for studies..!!!! i am thinking to leave engineering and thinking to join indian army on the basis of my 12th (HSC)...!!! that is i will be a soldier only but i wont be a lieutnent which is the dream of my life....!! i want to become lieutnent in my life but looks like it wont happen...i will be just a soldier.....!!! so shud i go for it...! or shud i face exams..!! i still have 1 month for it and i can p if studied properly...!! but i am under a huge pressure....!! thought of suicide for once also...!!! please give me a better suggestion to escape from this situation....!!pardon for my spelling mistakes-krishna
