Why couldn't God get it Right, the first time? (why God Religion is Silly...)?

first, I'm not ignorant of the Teachings, so, I'll Clarify. Why couldn't God make the Laws work with Israel - I know they failed, so Christ came - and all of a sudden, we are under Grace. Does this not mean, that we have free will...? (not that Grace means free will - I mean that because they failed, it proves that we (and Israel...) have free will. If we have free will, then we aren't following a Plan - we are not God's puppets... Once Christ traded places and died for Us (silly belief...) All else was Solved. All is forgiven - the believers would say... So what's the next step...? Muhammad claims God and a new age - what's next - John Smith and Mormons - what's the next step...? the Bible clearly says God religion will end, replaced by an actual God on a throne, but what;s the holdup...? We were All Forgiven Over two thousand years ago... That Dark God isn't coming, is He...? (What do You All Think...?)
