Did you know you can make a name more feminine or masculine based on spelling?

In English there are no rules denoting femininity or masculinity in words, so no, you can't logically make a name more feminine by misspelling it. YOU might personally feel that adding extra letters to a name in English makes it more feminine but in reality, it doesn't, it's just your preference which is not based in any fact. Isabel is no less feminine than Isabelle b/c they are both the same name, just spelled differently.
